A tutti i Registrar,

vi informiamo che domani, 1 agosto 2018, saranno effettuate le seguenti attivita’:

- pubblicazione delle nuove Linee Guida Tecniche, Versione 2.4, contenenti le integrazioni per la registrazione e il mantenimento dei nomi a dominio “firmati digiltalmente” (DNSSEC);

- pubblicazione di una nuova sezione del sito web del Registro.it contenente:

- informazioni di tipo generale sulla registrazione dei nomi a dominio edu.it;

- Regolamento di "Assegnazione e gestione dei nomi a dominio nel SLD edu.it”, Versione 1.0;

- Addendum alle Linee Guida Tecniche per la "Gestione delle operazioni sui nomi a dominio nel SLD edu.it”, Versione 1.0;

- rilascio, sulla piattaforma di test (pubtest.nic.it), del nuovo server EPP (e servizi correlati) integrato con le funzionalita’ necessarie alla registrazione/modifica di nomi a dominio edu.it.

- rilascio della libreria client, e relativa documentazione, integrata con le modifiche relative alla gestione dei nomi a dominio edu.it.

Vi informiamo inoltre che:

- il 7 settembre p.v. sara’ pubblicato l’addendum al contratto Registrar per la registrazione dei nomi a dominio edu.it;

- a partire dall’11 settembre 2018 i Registrar potranno sostenere il test di accreditamento DNSSEC (come gia’ anticipato nella mail inviata ai Registrar il 26 luglio scorso) e, conseguentemente, registrare nomi a dominio "firmati digitalmente”;

- il 20 settembre p.v., i Registrar che avranno sottoscritto l’addendum al contratto per edu.it, potranno iniziare a registrare i nomi a dominio edu.it.

To all Registrars,

we inform you that tomorrow, 1 August 2018, the following activities will be carried out:

- publication of the New Technical Guidelines, Version 2.4, containing the integrations for the registration and maintenance of "Digitally Signed" domain names (DNSSEC);

- publication of a new section of the Registro.it website containing:

- general information on the registration of domain names edu.it;

- Regulations for the "Assignment and management of domain names in the SLD edu.it", Version 1.0;

We inform you also that:

- on September 7, 2018, a new addendum to the Registrar contract for the registration and management of edu.it domain names will be published;

- starting from September 11, 2018, the new DNSSEC accreditation test will be available to Registrars (as already notified by email on last July 26, 2018), and then, the accredited Registrars will be allowed to register / manage DNSSEC domains;

- on September 20, 2018, the Registrars that will have signed the edu.it addendum to the Registrar contract, will be allowed to register edu.it domain names.
