vi informiamo che oggi, 29 aprile 2022, nella sezione “Moduli e Doc” del sito web del Registro.it, è stata pubblicata la versione 8.0 del “Regolamento di assegnazione e gestione dei nomi a dominio nel ccTLD .it” e la versione 3.0 delle “Linee Guida Tecniche”:

Il nuovo Regolamento e le nuove Linee Guida Tecniche entreranno in vigore il 30 maggio 2022.

Le principali modifiche presenti nel nuovo “Regolamento” sono le seguenti: - aggiunto il Regno Unito ai paesi ai quali è consentita la registrazione dei nomi a dominio nel ccTLD.it; - eliminato il fax come mezzo di comunicazione da e verso il Registro; - aggiunta la cancellazione di un nome a dominio da parte del Registrar, nel caso di dati palesemente errati del Registrante; - revisione dei nomi corrispondenti alle denominazioni delle province italiane; - aggiunto il link relativo all’ “Elenco dei nomi corrispondenti alle denominazioni dei comuni italiani” presente sul sito web del Registro .it.

Le principali modifiche presenti nelle nuove “Linee Guida Tecniche” le seguenti: - aggiunto il Regno Unito ai paesi ai quali è consentita la registrazione dei nomi a dominio nel ccTLD.it; - eliminato il fax come mezzo di comunicazione da e verso il Registro e aggiunto l’indirizzo email domain-operations@nic.it; - modificata la categoria (EntityType) delle imprese individuali, che da EntityType = 2 sono state collocate tra i soggetti con EntityType = 3; - i soggetti, appartenenti alla categoria identificata da EntityType = 3, possono esprimere il consenso alla pubblicazione dei dati personali (consentForPublishing); - inserita la nuova sezione: “3.8.3 Procedura per la rilevazione, segnalazione e correzione dei dati inaccurati”; - aggiunta la cancellazione di un nome a dominio da parte del Registrar, nel caso di dati palesemente errati del Registrante; - revisione degli stati di un nome a dominio inactive/serverHold e pendingDelete/pendingDelete e revisione di uno degli stati dei contatti (serverUpdateProhibited) in seguito all’introduzione del sistema per la verifica e la gestione dell’accuratezza dei dati; - i contatti Registrante che si trovano nello stato serverUpdateProhibited non possono essere referenziati dal Registrar nella registrazione di nuovi nomi a dominio o in nomi a dominio già presenti nel DBNA; - revisione dei “moduli di registrazione” presenti ai paragrafi 3.1.6.1 e 3.1.6.2; - revisione dei “Modelli di documento scritto di registrazione” presenti ai paragrafi 3.8.1.1.1 e 3.8.1.1.2; - alle imprese individuali e ai liberi professionisti viene inviata la stessa email delle persone fisiche (“Oggetto: 10300 - Nuova registrazione del nome a dominio <nome del dominio>”) nei casi di registrazione di un nuovo nome a dominio e di modifica del Registrante; - modificate le descrizioni delle reason di errore 8028 e 9017, al fine di contemplare la modifica del consentForPublishing anche per i soggetti con entityType = 3; - aggiunte due nuove reason di errore: 4017 e 8009; - revisione dell’“Appendice M - Il servizio Whois”, al fine di contemplare la modifica del consentForPublishing anche per i soggetti con entityType = 3.

The new Regulation and the new Technical Guidelines will enter into force on May 30, 2022.

The main changes in the new Regulation are as follows: - addition of the United Kingdom to the list of countries allowed to register domain names in the ccTLD.it; - elimination of fax as a means of communication to and from the Registry; - addition of the cancellation of a domain name by the Registrar, in the case of obviously incorrect data of the Registrant; - revision of the names corresponding to the denominations of the Italian provinces; - addition on the website of the .it Registry of the link of the List of names corresponding to the names of “Italian municipalities” has been added.

The main changes in the new “Technical Guidelines” are as follows: - addition of the United Kingdom to the list of countries allowed to register domain names in the ccTLD.it; - elimination of fax as a means of communication to and from the Registry and addition of the email address domain-operations@nic.it; - the category (EntityType) of individual firms has changed from EntityType = 2 to subjects with EntityType = 3; - the subjects, belonging to the category identified by EntityType = 3, can express their consent to the publication of personal data (consentForPublishing); - a new section has been added: “3.8.3 Procedure for the detection, reporting and correction of inaccurate data”; - addition of the cancellation of a domain name by the Registrar, in the case of obviously incorrect data of the Registrant; - revision of the domain name statuses inactive/serverHold and pendingDelete/pendingDelete and revision of one of the contact statuses following the introduction of the system for the verification and management of data accuracy; - the Registrant contacts who are in serverUpdateProhibited status cannot be referenced by the Registrar in the registration of new domain names or in domain names already present in the DBAN; - revision of the “registration forms” present in paragraphs 3.1.6.1 and 3.1.6.2; - revision of “Written registration forms” present in paragraphs 3.8.1.1.1 and 3.8.1.1.2; - individual firms and professionals are sent the same e-mail as natural persons (“Subject: 10300 - New registration of the domain name <domain name>”) in the case of registration of a new domain name and change of Registrant; - modification of the descriptions of reasons 8028 and 9017, in order to contemplate the modification of consentForPublishing also for subjects with EntityType = 3; - addition of two new error reasons: 4017 and 8009; - revision of “Appendix M - The Whois service”, in order to contemplate the modification of consentForPublishing also for subjects with EntityType = 3.
