vi informiamo che, il 7 giugno p.v., nella sezione “gov.it” del sito web del Registro .it (https://www.nic.it/it/domini-gov-it), saranno pubblicate la versione 1.0 del “Regolamento di assegnazione e gestione dei nomi a dominio nell’SLD gov.it” e la versione 1.0 delle relative “Linee Guida Tecniche per la gestione delle operazioni sui nomi a dominio nell’SLD gov.it” (addendum alle Linee Guida Tecniche per la gestione delle operazioni sui nomi a dominio nel .it).

Il “Regolamento di assegnazione e gestione dei nomi a dominio nell’SLD gov.it” e le relative Linee Guida Tecniche entreranno in vigore il 7 luglio 2022.

Vi informiamo inoltre che, a partire dal 7 giugno p.v., sarà possibile simulare sulla piattaforma di test del Registro .it, le operazioni necessarie alla registrazione di un nome a dominio dell’SLD gov.it.

Oltre al rilascio del server EPP, in grado di riconoscere le estensioni per l’SLD gov.it descritte nelle Linee Guida Tecniche, sarà reso disponibile il sistema di validazione del soggetto richiedente il nome a dominio gov.it, accessibile a:

https://gov-it-validation.pubtest.nic.it/

Il sistema di validazione, che in produzione sarà riservato alle Pubbliche Amministrazioni Centrali dello Stato italiano che desiderano registrare un nome a dominio nell’SLD gov.it, nella piattaforma di test è stato modificato in modo da consentire l’accesso ai Registrar, che potranno così verificarne il funzionamento e, una volta messo in produzione il 7 luglio, istruire i potenziali futuri Registranti.

I Registrar potranno accedere al suddetto sistema autenticandosi via SPID o, in mancanza di SPID, registrando un apposito utente. Al termine della validazione, il sistema invierà il risultato al Registrar (all’indirizzo e-mail definito dentro SPID o all’indirizzo e-mail con il quale si è registrato sul sistema).

Al fine di rendere più semplice e chiaro l’utilizzo di tale sistema di validazione, il Registro .it ha “pre-validato” un insieme di Pubbliche Amministrazioni italiane che hanno diritto alla registrazione di un nome a dominio gov.it e che potranno essere utilizzate dai Registrar sulla piattaforma di test, sia nella procedura di validazione che, successivamente, nella registrazione via EPP del nome a dominio e dei rispettivi contatti.

L’insieme di tali Pubbliche Amministrazioni con le relative informazioni di riferimento (codice IPA, eventuale codice UO) sarà disponibile sul portale RAIN di produzione (https://rain-ng.nic.it), nella sezione “Documenti/TEST-PA”.

Con l’occasione, informiamo anche i Registrar che sul portale RAIN, nella sezione “Documenti / EPP Client Library”, è stata pubblicata la nuova libreria client del Registro .it (epp-client-lib-1.18.0-20220607.zip) contenente le estensioni per la gestione dei nomi a dominio “gov.it” e la relativa documentazione.

To all Registrars

we inform you that, on June 7, in the “gov.it” section of the website of the .it Registry (https://www.nic.it/en/domini-gov-it), version 1.0 of the “Regulation for the assignment and management of domain names in the gov.it SLD” and version 1.0 of the related “Technical Guidelines for the management of domain name operations in the gov.it SLD” (addendum to the Technical Guidelines for the management of domain name operations in the .it SLD) will be published.

The “Regulation for the assignment and management of domain names in the SLD gov.it” and the related Technical Guidelines will enter into force on July 7, 2022.

We would also like to inform you that, starting from June 7, it will be possible to simulate on the test platform of the .it Registry the operations necessary for registering a domain name in the SLD gov.it.

In addition to the release of the EPP server, capable of recognising the extensions for the gov.it SLD described in the Technical Guidelines, the gov.it domain name applicant validation system will be made available, accessible at

https://gov-it-validation.pubtest.nic.it/

The validation system, which in production will be reserved for the Central Public Administrations of the Italian State wishing to register a domain name in the gov.it SLD, has been modified in the test platform to allow access to Registrars, who will thus be able to verify its operation and, once it goes into production on 7 July, instruct potential future Registrants.

Registrars will be able to access this system by authenticating via SPID or, in the absence of SPID, by registering a specific user. Once validation is complete, the system will send the result to the Registrar (to the e-mail address defined within SPID or to the e-mail address with which he/she registered on the system).

In order to make the use of this validation system simpler and clearer, the .it Registry has “pre-validated” a set of Italian Public Administrations that are entitled to register a gov.it domain name and that can be used by Registrars on the test platform, both in the validation procedure and, subsequently, in the registration via EPP of the domain name and respective contacts.

The set of these Public Administrations with their reference information (IPA code, UO code if applicable) will be available on the production RAIN portal (https://rain-ng.nic.it), in the “Documents/TEST-PA” section.

On this occasion, we also inform Registrars that on the RAIN portal, in the “Documents / EPP Client Library” section, the new client library of the .it Registry has been published (epp-client-lib-1.18.0-20220607.zip) containing the extensions for the management of “gov.it” domain names and the relevant documentation.
